CSS, an incredibly powerful tool, gives web developers greater control over the look and feel of their sites along with helping to keep maintenance work down to a minimum. However, with the spotlight now well and truly focussed on the W3C's Web Accessibility Initiative, CSS has an even more important role to play in the future of web design and development. For anyone just starting out on the CSS trail, the incredible advancement of this technology over the past couple of years presents a pretty steep learning curve - for many, frighteningly steep!
There is a huge amount of CSS information on the net along with mailing lists that offer anything from CSS for beginners through to Advanced CSS. What DaxAssist will be offering is a library of CSS Scripts with full tutorials along with useful hints for those challenging cross browser issues that are always floating around. The aim is to make CSS accessible to anyone at any stage of the learning curve and afford them the opportunity to add CSS functionality to their site whilst maintaining the spirit of Accessibility.
