[introduction]

welcome to the new DaxAssist website!

Rising to the challenge of changing technology, my new site takes advantage of CSS which allows for greater flexibility, quicker download times, accessibility and cross browser compliance - quite a package!

I am planning to add a few of my 'home-made CSS recipes' in the future and will also be sharing the amazing CSS resources I have discovered in recent months.

I know there are many regular visitors to this site - thanks for your continued support! The messages of success I receive each time someone implements a script or tip makes the whole project worthwhile!

web design

For me, the most wonderful thing about web design is the freedom it gives me to express my creativity.

From the moment I started my very first web site I knew I had found something exciting and stimulating enough to keep me interested for a very long time to come. Work has rarely been a pleasurable experience for me once past the initial learning stages. No matter what opportunites came my way, within a short space of time, I found myself bored with the same old routine. That just cannot happen in web design due to the changing nature of the Internet itself. New standards and new technologies are being introduced every day. For me, the adventure has just begun...

web resources

The world wide web has the most amazing collection of resources and knowledge. No matter what you want or need to know, you can always find something relevant on the Internet. When it comes to web design and development, you will also find that for the most part, designers and developers love to share. Every mailing list or group I have been involved with have been incredibly supportive of newcomers to the industry and there is never any holding back when it comes to helping and sharing what we know.

If you are lookig for something in particular related to web design or development, be sure to check out my resource pages where you will find plenty of links to sites offering everything from HTML help through Flash tips to Programming advice.

And if you have a help site of your own or know of a little gem that you want to share with others, please use my feedback form to let me know. I would love to see it and, if appropriate, add it to my resource pages here.
